The Three Crowns first opened its doors in 1749 and features include its own well and pub ghost, a 36 seat restaurant, a further 36 seats in the dining area of the pub and a thriving public bar with regulars so loyal that some even have their own bar stools complete with name plaque.

Under chef Clinton Smythe a reputation for good food has been developed with Saturdays and Sundays especially popular with an average of 70 customers a day visiting to enjoy the home cooked food.
